It is VERY hard to take pictures when you have skates on that are 2 sizes too small AND you have to stay next to the baby strapped in the stroller AND you are a pretty lame skater AND none of your 4 kids skating can skate very well either. Good thing it was still fun!
Chillaxin'Maybe when my secret dream to be a Roller Derby Queen and call myself 'Big Assets' is realized these guys could be my cheerleaders (wear little dollar sign inspired outfits and we could dye their hair green -and I could have fishnets with fake money poking out of some of the holes )I dont even want to tell how well I ve thought this through but I will say that my whole outfit is pretty much planned .Now all I need to do is learn how to actually skate! Oprah says to dream big.

So fun! Where did you go? It doesn't seem crowded. My kids have been begging me to take them ice skating, and I'm not interested. Roller skating, however, would be SO fun.

My ankles and skates don't go well together, but I've always dreamed of being a roller derby queen nonetheless. It looks like the G-clan has a better shot than me!
Kate- it was at a baptist church and their community center off of Central and Bethany Home I think .Nash and Remi were invited to a birthday party there. It was pretty much just the party kids so that was nice but no DJ and 'couples skate' -dangit!
I just want it on record that I once received my Girl Scout ice-skating merit badge.
And ... I had to sacrifice my social standing in order to do it.
Those kids look like they have been able to maintain theirs.
So ... about that outfit ...
Can we just form a "feux" rollerdery team and wear the outfits around? That's all I care about. I think you need to copyright that team name and outfit attire before somebody steals it. LOVE the photos! LOOOVE those glam-chillens of mine!!!!!XOXO
if you are big assests, what does that make me? the debt collector that will give the other girls a "credit card" swipe to teach them a lesson. perhaps, although i don't want anyone to make any deposits on the roller floor.

YOu get a gold star for taking all your kids to the rink AND braiding the girls' hair. Good job you!
